Virtual Currency & In‑App Purchases Policy
Applies to KiwiArcadeHub.com (New Zealand). Last updated: 25 March 2026.
1) Optional purchases
Games may offer optional purchases such as virtual coins, tokens, boosts, cosmetics, or other in‑game items (“Virtual Items”). You can play without buying Virtual Items unless a game feature clearly requires them.
2) What you receive
When you purchase Virtual Items, you receive a limited, personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to use them within the relevant game or service on kiwiarcadehub.com (or within the applicable platform, if purchased through an app store). Virtual Items may be changed, balanced, or removed where reasonably necessary for gameplay, security, or legal compliance.
3) No cash value; not redeemable or transferable
- Virtual currency and Virtual Items have no cash value.
- They are not legal tender, not a stored value facility, and cannot be redeemed for money.
- They are not transferable between accounts and cannot be sold, gifted, or traded outside the service.
4) Pricing, taxes & payment processing
Prices are shown at checkout in the displayed currency and may include GST where required. Payment may be processed by KiwiArcadeHub Limited or by a third‑party payment provider/app store. Your payment method may be subject to your bank’s or provider’s authorisation checks. We do not store full card details where a third‑party processor is used.
5) Chargebacks, fraud & account actions
If we detect suspected fraud, unauthorised use, or policy breaches, we may pause fulfilment, limit features, or suspend accounts while we investigate. If a chargeback or payment reversal occurs, we may remove the related Virtual Items and/or restrict access until the issue is resolved, to the extent permitted by law.
6) Refunds & cancellations (NZ consumer protections)
Digital items are generally delivered immediately. If you simply change your mind, we may decline a refund unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout. However, under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, you may be entitled to remedies if what you bought is not provided as described, is faulty, or cannot be delivered due to an issue within our control. If you believe you qualify, contact us with your account email, order reference, and a description of the issue. Purchases made through an app store must be refunded via that store’s process.
7) Minors & permission
If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian before making purchases. The account holder is responsible for purchases made using their payment method and device/account security.
